How to get an SMS sender ID approved in Norway

An alphanumeric sender name lifts open rates by 30%. Here's how to apply.

4 min. læsning

Default SMS from an international number often gets flagged or ignored. An approved alphanumeric sender ID — typically the store's name — makes the message look like it comes from someone the customer knows.

How it works

  1. You pick a sender name (3-11 characters, letters and digits only).
  2. Loyaltey support submits to the SMS provider (LINK Mobility).
  3. Norwegian operators process — typically 3-5 business days.
  4. Once approved, the sender ID is used automatically for campaigns.
