Loyaltey + Square

What it does

• Connects with Square OAuth; no API keys to copy.
• Receives Square payment webhooks and awards a stamp to the matching loyalty member.
• Matches the customer by a previously learned Square customer or card, the member barcode, email or phone.
• Each Square transaction is stamped at most once.

How to set it up

1. Open Integrations → Point of sale in the Loyaltey dashboard.
2. Click Connect on Square and approve access in Square.
3. Turn on automatic stamping.

How customers are recognised

When a sale arrives, Loyaltey looks for the customer in this order: a POS customer or card it learned from an earlier purchase, the member barcode scanned from the wallet pass, then email and phone. Learned identifiers are stored only as keyed hashes. Sales that cannot be matched are listed in the dashboard so staff can link them, and every transaction is stamped at most once.
